After some years of consideration, we have decided to create this site in order to better the links we have with our current clients and, introduce our offerings to all those who never tasted our Tinto’s.

- More than 400 billion cups of coffee are consumed every year, making it the world’s most popular beverage besides water.
- Green coffee is a commodity and ranks second only to petroleum in terms of dollars traded on the world market.
- Coffee is grown in over 50 countries around the world.
- Most of the world’s coffee is grown in a rather small part of the world between the Tropic of Cancer and Tropic of Capricorn.
- The average coffee tree can live 20-30 years and is harvested once a year to bear enough cherries to produce 1-1 1/2 lbs of roasted coffee.
- A pound of coffee contains roughly 4,000 beans (from 2,000 cherries).
- A good coffee picker will take 1 1/2 days to fill a coffee bag, a yield of approximately 150 pounds.
- Coffee was first drunk in the mid-fifteenth century.
