El Picacho

Tinto is proud to be associated with El Picacho in Medellin Colombia; a foundation which promotes education and gives hundreds of unadvantage children the opportunity to learn and grow without the financial pressure.

El Picacho however, does more than just provide a foundation for studies. Every morning from 8am, children queue not to study but to be fed, in what is for many, their only meal of the day. Tinto is proud of what El Picacho has achieved so far, and is thrilled to continue supporting the foundation and all the children.

Children Incorporated

Over the last year, Tinto has also worked closely with Children Incorporated. The non-profit organisation has been assisting millions of children worlwide for 42 years – regardless of race and creed. From India, to Sri Lanka, to the Phillippines to Colombia, Children International works with some 16,000 chilren in over 300 projects in 24 countries worldwide.

The organisation bases itself on long-range assistance to needy children, helping them through already established orphanages, schools, and welfare centers. By sponsoring several young children with Children Incorporated, Tinto is not only providing them food, shelter, clothing and education but also invaluable support and friendship.

Tinto has seen the incredible work of Children Incorporated first-hand; a young woman who grew up deeply impoverished in rural Bolivia is now working as an international lawyer. It’s examples like these that make Tinto proud to support and assist Children Incorporated.
